We are pleased to release the latest version of a new software package that includes ioAdmin Ver. 2.4, and firmware Ver. 1.4 for the
ioLogik E2210 /E2240
The software package will be available on MOXA's website starting May 18, 2007. After upgrading the E2210 and E2240 with the new ioAdmin windows utility and firmware, the following new functions will be available.
1. More event types are supported
New event types include continuous event trigger, one-time event, and "on-change" event for digital input. With the new firmware, Click&Go Logic can sense one-time digital input events, such as a door opening or closing, by sensing OFF-ON or ON-OFF signal changes. Other scenarios, such as reading a water level sensor every second, are supported with a "configurable time interval."
2. Remote IP configuration is supported
You can now install the ioLogik E2210 /E2240 in the field, and then configure the IP later over the network! The new software package allows you to set up IP addresses individually, even when IP conflicts are present.
3. Low speed Internet connections are supported
TCP/IP connections and Active I/O Messaging will support low speed Internet connections (e.g., GPRS and UMTS).
4. Compatible with MOXA EDS OPC Server Pro
MOXA EDS OPC Server Pro supports SNMP-to-OPC Server conversion. By importing the MIB file into EDS OPC Server Pro, the OPC Client or SCADA software can access the status of each I/O channel.
5. Compatible with "What's UP" SNMP-based management software
Compiled MIB files will support "What's UP," the popular SNMP management software.
Summary of Features:
1. Digital input level trigger and edge trigger mode are supported in Click&Go Logic
2. Remote IP configuration is supported
3. Compatible with MOXA EDS OPC Server Pro
4. Compatible with "What's UP" SNMP-Based management software
5. Allows ASCII and HEX code message format for active I/O messages
