Moxa
Networking Co., Ltd., which is dedicted to high-end Industrial
Ethernet solutions, is now offering EDS-205 EtherDevice
Switch. This cost-effective switch is an entry-level industrial
5-port Ethernet switch that supports IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3x
with 10/100M, full/half-duplex, MDI/MDIX auto-sensing
RJ45 ports. The wide operating temperature range (-10
to 60°C) and
DIN-Rail mounting ability make the plug-and-play EDS-205
EtherDevice Switch a solution that's ready for your
industrial Ethernet applications.
Rugged
and Compact Design
The EDS-205 EtherDevice is capable of operating
in temperatures of -10 to 60°C, making it rugged enough
for any harsh, industrial environment. Due to its compact
housing, wich measures only 25 x 109 x 88 mm (W x H x
D), the EDS-205 EtherDevice Switch only takes up
a small amount of space in the application field. EDS-205
can be easily installed with both DIN-Rail mounting and
distribution boxes. The high-intensity hardware design
with IP30 protection and LED indicators make EDS-205 EtherDevice
Switch an easy yet reliable Ethernet switch.
DC-
or AC-Power Input Options
With EDS-205 EtherDevice Switch, you can choose
either DC power input from 12V to 45V, or AC power input
from 18V to 30V. The AC-24V power input is especially
designed for applications in the building automation field
where the source of power input is often restricted. EDS-205
EtherDevice Switch is a low-cost versatile solution
for all industrial applications. If you are still using
a commercial Ethernet switch for your demanding industrial
applications, then it's time to upgrade to EDS-205. You'll
find it worth your while.
